The Business Services Specialist at Clackamas Federal Credit Union is responsible for providing a variety of clerical duties of moderate complexity for the Business Services department including organizing, maintaining, and auditing department records and files, preparing loan documents, reviewing documents for accuracy, and answering and responding to telephone calls and emails. To be successful in this position requires good time management skills, be resourceful, and have strong organization.

Essential Functions:

  • Embrace the Clackamas Experience including our Mission and Vision Statements, Core Values and the PACT service standards.
  • Acts as a receptionist and receive, screen, or direct visitors and telephone calls. Answers routine questions and provides general information.
  • Perform filing of documents by scanning into the imaging system and working with paper files.
  • Perform a variety of typing duties including correspondence, reports, preparing loan documentation.
  • Create loan documents with attention to accuracy.
  • Knowledge of regulations relating to member business lending.
  • Contact borrowers as necessary for missing documents, insurance information, etc.
  • Opens and disperses mail within the department.
  • Monitors and orders department supplies.

Other Expectations:

  • This position requires NMLS registration at the time of employment. Clackamas Federal Credit Union will initiate the NMLS registration process immediately after your employment start date. The Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) web site (http://fedregistry.nationwidelicensingsystem.org ) provides the MU4R questions and registration required for employment in this position.
 
Position Requirements

Education: Required - A high school education or GED. Preferred - A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.

Experience: Required – Two years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions. Preferred: Greater than two years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
