Description

The Inside Plant Technician will conduct oversight of ISP and OSP in the satellite sites in Deveselu, Romania and Redzikowo, Poland.

Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

  • Provide ISP O&M to include installed telephone systems and associated ancillary equipment. Specifically, the Contractor shall provide inside plant O&M support.
  • Provide preventive and corrective maintenance for all equipment and systems as prescribed by original equipment manufacturer recommendations.
  • Implement and manage Planned Maintenance System (PMS) in accordance with original equipment manufacturer recommendations.
  • Comply with PQS requirements in accordance with (IAW) Technical Exhibits and station SOPs.
  • Conduct a joint inventory with the COR of all maintenance tools and supplies no later than five (5) calendar days after the start of period of performance (POP).
  • Provide reports and records as required to document all task order support activities.
  • Maintain station logs for work areas and make all logs available to the Government when requested. The Master Station Log will be reported to the COR daily.
  • Provide a daily status report to include Outside Plant problems, Link/Trunk/Circuit Outages, Inside Plant and Telephone Switch Issues and Power/AC Issues.
  • Work with the BCO to ensure the Government provided cable records system are maintained and updated with current records to include building numbers, cable pairs, and pedestals.
  • Provide ISP/OSP testing (Point to Point/End to End), certification, and labeling of new infrastructure.
  • Furnish fully qualified on-site technicians to provide scheduled, unscheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance for AAMDF Deveselu, Romania, AAMDF Redzikowo, Poland, and NCTS Naples, Italy.
  • The VoIP system will include Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM) servers and Cisco IP Telephones.
  • Provide support operating VoIP equipment.
  • Provide maintenance activities for VoIP equipment.
  • Support managing the VoIP database to include performing telephone adds, moves, changes, and deletes.
  • Respond to a trouble ticket within 30 minutes after notification that corrective maintenance is required.
  • Report to the site within four (4) hours of trouble ticket notification that corrective maintenance is required and notify the COR or Government designee upon arrival.
  • Enter all database and maintenance changes in an electronic log and make the log available to the Government upon request.
  • Perform routine installation support for local VoIP equipment and requirements as recommended.
  • Support original equipment manufacturer or third-party integration contractors during installations and/or equipment enhancements.
  • Support any inspections by the Government in area of responsibility.
  • Participate and support in end-to-end troubleshooting on the VoIP systems.
  • Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.
