Our Team:

The EDI Coordinator is responsible for the maintenance and daily support of the company's Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) program. Provides assistance to Customer Service Operations and affiliated Brands with all EDI related projects. This position works closely with business units and Information Technology (IT) staff to ensure business requirements deliver to plan especially as it relates to coordinating new Trading Partner Setup Projects (Setup Customers, Items), using established ePMO methodology.

The EDI Coordinator, in coordination with management, is responsible for communicating with partners regarding all EDI related problems or questions. Maintains database information, performs simple to complex queries and is also responsible for assisting other internal departments including Sales and Logistics. Assists with chargeback data as communicated by the customer via EDI and develops and maintains documentation for the EDI system and the various processes.

What you will be doing:

  • Assist with day to day operations of all EDI and Order Processing functions.
  • Ensure seamless functioning of EDI and/or Order Processing areas as needed.
  • Assist with EDI projects and communicate directly with suppliers and customers.
  • Feed and troubleshoot EDI transactions into and out of backend ERP system.
  • Partner with Sales and Operations departments to improve the EDI integration process and data quality.
  • Monitor all EDI related inbound and outbound documents.
  • Ensure company compliance with all EDI guidelines from all EDI major wholesale customers and implement any updates pertaining to EDI transactions.
  • Interact with internal associates (Sales, Order Entry, IT, and Warehouse) as well as external business associates (Customers, vendors, trading partners and EDI software technical reps).
  • Review, track and ensure timely and accurate document transmissions.
  • Review charge-backs and follow up with Accounts Receivable department for EDI non-compliance charge-backs assessed.
  • Set up and coordinate tests with Operations and Warehouse for new customers on EDI.
  • Work to assist other internal departments to prevent chargebacks.
  • Perform Quality Control on all setups, modifications, updates to the EDI System.
  • Provide training on EDI Processes to internal associates.

What you bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Process Engineering, Project Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, Supply Chain, Information Systems or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' related professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in EDI software and support including order management, inventory management and warehouse management systems.
  • Basic working knowledge of SAP in an EDI environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word.

Preferred Experience and Education:

  • Master's Degree in a related field.
