There is an immediate need for an Illinois LCSW to work as an Intake Coordinator in the behavioral health unit of a hospital in St. Clair County, Illinois. This is a temporary position expected to last three months. The hours are M-F 8:00-4:30 or 9:00-5:30. Candidates must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
This position will be responsible for direct contact with patients, referral sources, families, physicians, nurses and treatment teams. It will also oversee the intake department and provide supervision and guidance to team members. The Intake Coordinator will provide telephonic and in-person risk assessment and crisis intervention, and will coordinate the referral and intake process. This position will also coordinate team scheduling, assist with payroll, and take on other management tasks.
This unit works with all ages from pediatric to geriatric. Clinicians must be able to adapt quickly and work independently.
