Development Coordinator

Full-Time Hours

The Development Coordinator provides administrative and logistical support to the Development Department to meet budgeted revenue goals. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the Annual and ongoing fundraising campaigns, including direct mail.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Coordinator on Digital fundraising campaigns.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining the Development database, including timely and accurate data entry.
  • Responsible for sending out donor thank you letters and acknowledgements, adhering to fundraising best practices.
  • Support the SVP in the preparation of proposals and materials for major donors and grant submissions
  • Support the Director of Special Events by helping to complete events contracts and requests, submitting online sponsorship requests, and fielding calls about the upcoming events.

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor of Arts Degree
  • Experience in fundraising, event management and/or public relations required.
  • Must have excellent written, oral and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required, Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge and Luminate Online preferred.
  • Publisher and Adobe Illustrator experience a plus.
