Major responsibilities include (not all inclusive): This position requires an individual to be able to multitask and prioritize work with minimal supervision. Individual must possess and utilize strong organizational skills with good follow through and attention to detail. This individual will be required to transition from one task to another while maintaining focus on specific core duties. Responsible for all work performed under this contract. Shall be a single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). Shall be on site and available for Medical Evaluation Division leadership (Contracting Officer’s Representative, Division Chief and Operations Chief) during the core hours of 0800 AM – 4:30 PM EST. May recommend process improvements that will help to improve accuracy and cycle time resulting in improved customer service Shall direct employee participation in the development, maintenance and administration of the application processes below: Review medical records, both paper-based and electronic Perform data entry/information management Prepare paper file and/or digital file for the screening and/or evaluation process IAW NMC MMS documents using various electronic tools, including databases, spreadsheets, MMLD and other USCG standard business software record. Make appropriate entries and assign files to screeners, evaluators, physicians and supervisors as required by the Government. Sort, file and deliver mail generally consisting of supplemental applicant information, approximately 150 pieces of correspondence daily Perform other administrative services required as part of the efforts described above (such as filing paper records, communicating with others, sending official correspondence, filing and other office administrative actions), including work that is typical in an office setting (copying, drafting, faxing, stapling, etc.) Shall control business outcomes and requirements as they pertain to Contractor personnel. Prepare Status Reports Qualified Candidates must have: Experience – Minimum of one year in a supervisory role in a healthcare environment.
