Paint & Adhesive Equipment Engineer 

Description
  • Engineer, cost & direct paint/adhesive equipment installations at Inteva facilities worldwide
  • Meet all assigned project deliverables in the field: safely, on-time & within budget
  • Diagnose & correct deficiencies in manufacturing paint, adhesive & surface treatment processes
  • Investigate, recommend & develop new application & surface pretreatment technologies
  • Generate & implement cost savings concepts relate to equipment & material
  • Support Product Development Teams through regular personal interaction, commitment to deliverables, & support for team members
 
Position Requirements

REQUIRED

-Ability to work effectively in a team environment & operate independently

-Highly motivated to attain work objective, manage & prioritize multiple tasks under demanding situations & timing

-Excellent organizational & planning skills

-Strong inpersonal skills

-Available for domenstic & international travel, up to 50% of working days on average

-Excellent problem solving skills

-High degree of self-motivation & self-direction

-Competent ability with MS Office computer programs: MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint

-High level of analytical ability, oral & written communications skills

PREFERRED

-Knowledge of paint chemistry for automotive interior plastics (1K/2K/WB/SB/soft-touch/hard-touch)

-Proven ability to work in a team environment, as an active member, group facilitator & leader

-Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics & control equipment

-Competent with AutoDesk AutoCAD

-Experience with ABB and/or Fanuc paint & material handling robots

-Competent with Mircosoft Project
