This position will be responsible for managing service team members and the effectiveness and daily operations of various advisor technology tools. Maintaining and assisting with development and testing of platform initiatives, as assigned by performing the following duties.

Position duties include but not limited to:

  • Oversees and assigns service team members support responsibilities.
  • Oversees case management and quality assurance.
  • Manage and serve as the system administrator for the day to day functions of assigned technology products including, but not limited to, Unio run the bank activities, Annuity Order Entry (Firelight and Subscribe); LaserApp; DocuSign; NetX360; fundVISION; FMC, Albridge; and MoneyGuide Pro.
  • Participates in user acceptance testing for platform initiatives.
  • Make updates to operation’s technology systems as needed for continued functionality.
  • Make key decisions in trouble shooting and escalate issues with vendors, dataVISION team, and product providers.
  • Coordinate with technology teams internally and externally to troubleshoot technical support items related to operations technology products.
  • Identify and propose opportunities to expand the offering of advisor support tools and services.
  • Communicate with programs and registered representatives on regular basis to answer questions and inquiries regarding operations products.
  • Contribute to system integration initiatives and projects.
  • Conduct core testing during system project, enhancements and updates to ensure key functionality is not disrupted.
  • Manage multiple projects and coordinates tasks concurrently.
  • Assist with training as needed.
  • Keeps consistent office hours in the San Diego home office.
  • Supports Company Mission and Corporate Values.
  • Other projects and duties may be assigned.
Position Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school and a minimum of two years related industry experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Financial services industry experience required.
  • Series 7 or 99 license preferred, but not required.
  • Previous experience with managing call center teams, financial services wealth management preferred.
  • Writing skills and desktop publishing experience required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong understanding of operational products.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in writing, phone and video conferencing.
  • Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
