Description

The Food & Beverage Director provides overall leadership, guidance, and direction to the Food & Beverage team to provide the highest quality in standards and services. This person will offer strategic leadership expertise that continues to support an effective and efficient Food and Beverage operation, to include the following functions; restaurants, bars, room service, team member café, culinary and catering events. The Food & Beverage Director will have overall responsibility for the Food and Beverage experience for all internal and external guests, with specific focus on creating and implementing department initiatives, managing departmental budgets and expenses and maintaining a quality Edgewood Food and Beverage team. They oversee the day-to-day functions of Food and Beverage, to include; staff management, guest interactions, office administration duties and communications with all other departments. This position will exhibit excellence in cultivating the Edgewood Vision by executing both employee and guest engagement standards.

 
Position Requirements
  • The ideal candidate is a seasoned and highly effective professional with outstanding management skills, extensive hands-on experience in Food and Beverage operations, have demonstrated experience with a large and diverse banquet operations and be able to provide consistent, energetic and positive leadership to the F&B team.
  • Minimum of 5 years with proven leadership experience in a resort/hotel Food and Beverage setting is required.
  • Luxury Food & Beverage experience a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills needed.
  • Demonstrated experience building and leading successful F&B teams with new business opening experience a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with a proven track record of responsible fiscal management.
  • Highly proficient with MS Office and working knowledge of Aloha and Open Table.
  • Available to work varied shifts when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
