Cadaret Grant is looking for a Senior Recruiter to join our successful and growing Recruiting Department. This position will manage our west coast territory by actively recruiting and securing new independent financial advisors to Cadaret Grant and Atria Wealth Solutions. With the primary goal of expanding the growth of the enterprise, this position sets production goals, establishes strategic business plans, and markets the enterprise’s services to prospective advisors in an attempt to secure their financial services business. This requires extensive public contact with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.

Position duties include but not limited to:

  • Actively network, recruit, secure and place new financial advisors/brokers to one of the nation’s most prestigious independent broker/dealers.
  • Responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle starting from lead management to close. Including monitoring leads and utilize various lead lists to reach out to prospective representatives
  • Extensive phone communication with members of the broker/dealer community.
  • Travel both locally and regionally to meet with prospective registered represnetiatives, conduct informational meetings, and to represent the firm at conferences, trade show or networking events.
  • Evaluate and determine qualification status of contacts based on production and integrity criteria established by the firm.
  • Develop a strong understanding of brokers’ needs and effectively sell the broker/dealer through a consultative process.
  • Establish recruiting goals, design and implementation of a recruitment plan, which capitalizes on the existing strengths of the organization, maximizes market opportunities, minimizes threats to success and creates scenarios for competitive advantages.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business trends to identify opportunities for change in current processes and procedures
  • Ensures the identification of prospective advisers with good reward/risk rations for profitability to minimize risk to enterprise and its groups.
  • Build and develop relationships with sales leaders and key stake holders across the enterprise to deliver on recruitment objectives.
  • Assist in the creation, development, and deployment of recruiting campaigns.
  • Compile detailed status updates for reporting internally and to management.
  • Cultivate relationship and networking connections with 3rd party financial services recruiting firms.
  • Work with transition team to assist in on-boarding efforts of new representatives.
  • Present necessary application forms and collect backup documentation to substantiate business production levels of prospective representatives.
Position Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in private client services, insurance or investments with a combination of financial advisory, branch manager, broker/dealer, recruiting and leadership experience on a national level
  • FINRA Series 7 & 24 securities license
  • Demonstrated ability to create a recruiting vision plan, implement the plan and drive results.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing strategic initiatives and plans which have benefited a company’s top and bottom lines.
  • Ability to create and effectively manage administrative budgets and develop business performance measure to evaluate productivity.
  • Successful consultative skills are necessary.
  • Commitment to follow-up and follow through, creating a positive recruiting experience.
  • Well organize, strong time management skills.
  • Must be willing to travel and work extended hours as needed.
