Telsey & Company is an award-winning organization of casting professionals in New York City and Los Angeles, with local, regional, national, and international clientele. With projects spanning all media of performance art (film, television, theatre, commercials, dance, and more), we are dedicated to the artistic integrity of our projects by closely collaborating with creative teams and producers. Telsey + Co. is currently taking applications for LA based intern interested in casting and learning about what it takes to be a casting director.

 
Position Requirements

Responsibilities:

Our interns are exposed to many aspects of the casting process, including:

  • Organizing lists.
  • Checking actor avails.
  • Helping coordinate sessions.
  • Sit in on casting sessions.
  • Generating and/or maintaining spreadsheets.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, & MAC computers.
  • Working knowledge of today’s entertainment industry, a plus.
  • We require a minimum of 2 full days from 9:30 – 6:00pm.
  • Sincere desire to learn about casting.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented team player.
