Community Liaison / Clinician  

Description

Summary of Position:

Assists Project Director in outreach activities, trainings, and provides trauma-informed resources and guidance to staff. Linked with a community-based partner to provide consultative outreach, supervision, case review services.

Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following (and other duties as assigned):

  • Facilitates trainings and outreach activities
  • Identifies and prepares materials for trainings and outreach activities
  • Ensures that training/outreach logistics are coordinated
  • Provides direct guidance to trauma focused clinical staff
  • Serves in a liaison role to assigned partner organization
  • Provides direct clinical interventions to a caseload of children and their families. Office in-home and in-community capacity
  • Completes data collection requirements for all project activities
  • Promotes a culture of trauma-informed care in the Bergen County Community
 
Position Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in social work or related field; professional licensure
  • Administrative and supervisory experience
  • Training experience
  • Knowledge of local services applicable to the population
  • Experience in running meetings or making presentations
  • Experience coordinating a community outreach program
  • Valid NJ Driver’s license, insurable by agency policy
