Our Dispatcher is truly the heartbeat of our Yard. The Dispatcher sets the daily direction of customer deliveries. This high paced and highly collaborative position is responsible for reading orders from our sales team and coordinating the corresponding deliveries with maximum efficiency. Bring your strong communication and critical thinking skills as you work with customers, sales team and give direction to Yard personnel.


  • Lead, Manage and hold Accountable
  • Truck Utilization & Scheduling
  • Communicate with Delivery Teams
  • Coordinate Outsourced Deliveries
  • Maintain Customer Relationships


The successful Dispatcher at Shaw/Stewart is an effective collaborator. The Dispatcher will have a high attention to detail, the ability to problem solve and will work with urgency while accurately delivering against deadlines. The ability to prioritize and influence will be critical in successfully executing against the key accountabilities. Shaw/Stewart employees deliver results while living out our values.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Transportation or Logistics Experience - min 1 year required
  • Geographic knowledge of Twin Cities Metro Area
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • 5 years' work experience
  • High proficiency in math
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check


  • Delivery/Driving Experience - min 2 years preferred
  • Dispatch experience
  • Experience with construction/building materials
