Schedule Monday-Friday, 6:00 am-11:00 am; Saturday-Sunday, 7:00 am-11:00 am. Position will run for approximately 22 weeks, April 1, 2020-August 31, 2020.  
Pay Rate $13.00/hr.  
Description

SUMMARY
Prepares, maintains and closes complex and associated swimming pools from opening of season to close.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This list represents the types of duties required by the position. Other duties may be assigned as reasonably expected.
• Responsible for spring leaf cleanup, power washing, custodial duties, mowing, trimming, trash removal, set up for events, and painting. Also maintaining, adjusting and testing of pool chemical levels, sweeper operation and skimming pools as needed.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.

Position Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High School diploma or combination of education and experience required.
• Pool maintenance background preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Experience using small equipment.
• Working knowledge of City or County government a plus.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
• Valid Driver’s License

EQUIPMENT
Power washer, Pool Sweeper, Hand Mower, Weed Eater, Maintenance Tools, Miscellaneous Hand Tools, ladder.

The employee occasionally required to use hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required in this job include visions and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the office environment is usually quiet and moderately loud in the field. The employee is frequently exposed to cold, wet, and humid conditions. Smoke free environment.
