OUR MISSION: To help everyone achieve their personal best by providing the finest aquatic educational, competitive, therapeutic and recreational programs.   Description Job Description Position: Water polo coach, Gold/Intro Academy  Summary:  This job is for a coaching position that teaches the introductory skills of water polo and swimming to boys and girls ages 8-14.  You will be working with other coaches, as well as the competition team coaches, to help support and develop the water polo program. General Responsibilities:  Teaching basic water polo and swimming skills Manage an attendance sheet and take notes on athletes, as needed Work with other coaches to implement practice plans and drills Provide supervisor with feedback and information on practices and individual athletes Coach in a Sunday scrimmage once every 8 weeks (as needed) Qualifications:  Basic experience with water polo and swimming techniques Experience with youth programs or working with younger athletes (recommended) Positive attitude and patient demeanor First Aid, and CPR certification   Position Requirements Physical Requirements:  Bending, carrying, climbing, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, sitting, standing, walking. Work Schedule: Part-Time  Our program runs from 6:30pm - 9:00pm Monday through Friday.  We are looking for a 3-5 days’/week commitment from our coaches with flexibility and support from other coaches on staff, as needed.
