Share Email Opening Title BD Specialist  Location 1100 H Street NW # 805   Description Cube Root Corporation, a minority-owned, professional consulting engineering and construction management services firm headquartered in Washington, DC, currently has an excellent opportunity for a talented and energetic, Business Development Specialist. Candidate will support a wide range of business development activities including preparation of marketing collateral, production of proposals and presentations, maintenance of customer relationship management database, and occasional outside sales activities such as attendance at industry conferences. The Business Development Specialist will work under the direction of the Vice President of Business Development. The successful candidate will be a creative and detail-oriented who welcomes challenges and takes initiative. A strong aptitude for creative writing and graphic design, good time management skills and multi-tasking proficiency are essential, along with strong proofreading, problem-solving and data manipulation skills. Qualifications Required: A Bachelor's degree and at least three years of business development experience coordinating and developing proposals, preferably in the architecture/engineering/construction industry. Work experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated experience with graphics programs, such as, Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Office and other desktop publishing software. Personal commitment of time outside of the traditional 8:30am-5:30pm business hours.
