Share Email Opening Title Acquisition Analyst (Team Lead)  Description The Columbia Group (TCG), a technical services support company which has a successful 50+ year history of providing direct support to NAVSEA, Military Sealift Command, the US Marine Corps, US Coast Guard, and other maritime clients with acquisition, logistics management, engineering, design, fabrication, test and evaluation, information technology and financial management support services is seeking an Acquisition Analyst.   The ideal candidate will perform the following duties: Work with the customers to plan tasks and resolve issues. Manage up to fifteen (15) individuals, ensuring good communication and resolving performance shortfalls. Ensure all timely completion of tasking while minimizing errors and rework.   Position Requirements Required Education, Skills and Experience: At least four (4) years of experience working in a Defense Department acquisition program. In some cases, we may consider work in a commercial environment appropriate experience. Individuals with significantly more than four (4) years of experience in U.S. Navy shipbuilding will be considered. One year or more of experience in one or more of the following: Financial management of a Defense Acquisition program Shipbuilding (certain manufacturing experience may also qualify) Government contract management Supply chain logistics Cybersecurity Configuration management of hardware systems U.S. Citizenship required.
