Dear Indiana Educator:

Measurement Incorporated is seeking educators to fill the temporary positions of Readers/Evaluators during the Spring 2020 scoring season to score ILEARN student responses. We are a diverse company engaged in educational research, test development, and the scoring of tests administered throughout the world. Our company has grown to be the largest of its kind by providing consistent and reliable results to our clients. We are able to do so through the efforts of a professional and flexible staff.

The hiring process will take place beginning in mid-January 2020 for assignments starting in mid-April 2020. If you are hired as a Reader/Evaluator, you will be placed into our qualified reader pool.

Important Information

  • You must have a computer that meets our technical requirements. Specifications will be provided in the early stages of the application process.
  • If you are a returning applicant or returning reader, be sure the email address you use to reapply matches the one that is currently in your MyStaffingPro (MSP) profile.
  • Measurement Incorporated requires all seasonal employees to have up to date I-9 Forms. New applicants as well as returning applicants that did not complete I-9 forms in 2019 will need to complete these forms in order to work during the 2020 Scoring Season.

Working Hours:

Participating educators will be expected to commit to scoring full time for three to four days total (Instructional Coaches) or scoring part time, three nights per week, for three weeks (Teachers).

  • Teachers
    • Evening scoring: 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
    • Required Commitment: Three nights per week for three weeks
    • Teachers may work a maximum of 36 hours per week.
  • Instructional Coaches
    • Day scoring: 8:30 a.m.–4:15 p.m.
    • Required Commitment: Three or four full days
    • Instructional Coaches may work a maximum of 30 hours per week.

What you Need to Know

  • Each project has its own scoring criteria; therefore, we conduct paid training at the beginning of each project.
  • Reader/Evaluators must be able to accept and apply the scoring criteria as directed and maintain consistent and reliable scoring results throughout the project.
  • Reader/Evaluators must be willing to operate in a repetitive task situation while maintaining confidentiality and project security.
  • Pay rate for Educators and Instructional Coaches currently employed at accredited Indiana schools: $16.00 per hour.
  • If hired, Teachers will be asked to register in our payroll system and set up direct deposit if you have a bank account.
  • Instructional Coaches pay will be reimbursed to their primary Corporation.
  • Payments are made every other Friday for the preceding two-week pay period.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or an equivalent foreign degree verified by an educational equivalency agency recognized by NACES.
  • Completion of a Indiana Educator Reader/Evaluator Requirements questionnaire and satisfactory professional references.
  • Access to a home computer, high speed internet access, and a work area that can be secured.
  • Currently licensed by the State of Indiana (e.g., instructional, administrative, school services).
