Share Email Opening Title Human Resources Intern - Summer 2020 (Academy Gold)  Description Summary: The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is seeking an intern to support HR communications with the staff, as well as a wide variety of HR functions related to benefits, talent acquisition, and special projects. In this role you will be an active member of the team and you will gain knowledge from and interact with HR professionals throughout the length of your internship. In addition, you will be exposed to different facets of Human Resources. Responsibilities: Assist department with creating and executing a communication strategy with the staff relating to HR initiatives. Provide and post content for staff on our internal communications platform, Workplace. Complete research, reports, and audits. Assist in event planning, coordination, and execution of staff events. Other tasks and projects as needed in support of talent acquisition, benefits, and other functional areas of Human Resources.   Position Requirements Currently enrolled in an undergraduate (junior or senior) or graduate program in Human Resources or Business Administration. A desire and aptitude to work in Human Resources. An inherent interest in the motion picture industry. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with regard to all HR information. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. An exceptional multitasker that’s quick and organized, and functions with a sense of urgency. Adaptable and ambitious. Able to enthusiastically take on assignments as needed to support the team.
