Share Email Opening Title 345 Table Games Shift Supervisor  Location Cedar Lakes Casino   Description POSITION SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION: Supervise the Table Games Department during assigned shift. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS RESPONSIBILITIES: Has the ability to perform all functions of supervised positions. Establishes and administers procedures to the proper coordination of all operating activities relating to the Table Games Department with special emphasis on security. Determines manpower requirements and direct the activities of Floor Supervisors and Dealers. Greets guests and see that guests are properly hosted. Provides proper security and accountability of company funds entrusted to the department. Reviews adherence of Table Games personnel to company policies, procedures and standards for compliance to all applicable regulations. Oversees CMP functions. Enforces all Title 31 rules and Regulation. Shift Supervisor will be the relief person for all scheduled Floor Supervisors in all sections. Rates and evaluates Floor Supervisors on a daily basis, also do yearly evaluations. Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole. Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training. Maintains confidentiality at all times. Is sensitive to Native American Culture. Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations. Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. Performs other duties as assigned.   Position Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Must pass Leech Lake Gaming approved Dealer’s Training Course and approved Floor Supervisor’s Training Course. Good hand dexterity. Pleasant personality and excellent guest services. Basic math skills. Neat, clean and professional. Able to endure positioning and standing for long periods of time which could cause stress to mental concentration. Able to withstand positioning which can cause stress to various parts of the body. Knowledge of State Gaming Compact, Leech Lake Gaming Internal Controls and Casino house rules. Must be 18 years of age or older. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physically capable of remaining on feet for long periods of time. Subject to internal working conditions, including a smoking environment. EDUCATION AND SKILLS Education Required: High School Diploma or General Education Equivalency (GED) Experience: Minimum six months experience as a Table Games Dealer and six months experience as a Floor Supervisor.
