SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to provide support and help the Call Center as well as field personnel and managers to provide the highest level of customer service and promotes a professional office environment. Teamwork is a must as well as contributing to a positive team spirit.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties will be assigned as needed.

  • Responsible for taking all incoming service calls for DC, MD and VA and estimate requests and entering into the system.
  • Enters new customers and sends necessary paperwork needed to set up accounts.
  • Responsible for ensuring 3-ring pick up.
  • Assist with taking incoming service calls for VDV & Security.
  • Taking Estimates over the phone, write up estimates from Account Managers as needed.
  • Assist with proposals when needed as directed by Call Center Manager.
  • Assist with entering in the necessary information in the Account Managers daily calendar.
  • Receive, expedite, and return contracts sent in by customers.
  • Pull original proposals for awarded jobs, make necessary copies, confirm with customer that the approved proposals were received, and schedule with the customer.
  • Complete daily manpower for Field Electricians by 2 pm.
  • Works with Field Managers to assign Emergency Calls, dispatch jobs and proposal to qualified Field Electrician.
  • Process Field Time every Monday by 10 am.
  • Ensures safety.
  • Work with other area groups to ensure all Electricians have calls.
  • Maintain quality control to ensure services meet or exceed customer requirements.
  • Works closely with customers to develop a good relationship with clients and Account Managers.
  • Works independently to develop work with existing and new customers.
  • Continuing education to develop strength within the Service Department.
  • Assist Field Technicians and Expedites ordering material for dispatch jobs.
  • Expedites ordering rental equipment for dispatch jobs.
  • Works directly with field technicians and field managers to ensure all administrative needs are taken care of.
  • Key in DWT’s & complete jobs for MD, DC & VA when needed.
  • Reviews and updates Bi-Weekly Open Jobs report to ensure all jobs are closed out or updated in the assigned area.
  • Assist other Coordinators in their roles.
  • Reviews and disperses Answering Service Messages to correct department and follows with on call Electricians in making any Emergency Jobs.

EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE

Coordination and past supervisory experience is helpful. Knowledge of Technical/Electrical terminology is essential to competently communicate with technicians and Clients. Training or equivalent combination of related experience for a period of one year or a combination or experience and or training is required.

MATHMETICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions and percentages

REASONING ABILITY

Must possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagrams/drawings.
