Summary This position performs various custodial and maintenance work in offices, warehouses, industrial areas, and other building interiors and exteriors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform various custodial duties to maintain a clean work environment Sweep, Vacuum, mop, scrub, wax and polish floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing and buffing machines Use of ladders for dusting, washing walls, cleaning ceilings and light fixtures. Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, creates and equipment to clean areas May remove stains from rugs, drapes, walls, and flooring using chemicals and cleaning solutions Sweep, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow, salting or perform other incidental seasonal tasks Maintain bathrooms cleanliness and keep multiple locations stocked Follow current and future (SOP’S) and 5S program to ensure quality and safety Minor painting Education and Experience: Minimum Qualifications: Must pass a five-panel drug screening High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) Authorization for DMV records and a valid state issued driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record must be acquired and maintained. Preferred Qualifications: Custodial experience Essential Functions: Cognitive Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and analyze/problem solve Writing and reading comprehension skills Strong judgment and decision-making skills Physical Demands: Handle sharp cutting tools/objects Occasional lifting 25-40 lbs.
