Description

Position duties include but not limited to:

  • Educate advisors on the advisory offering with a focus on the Contour platform
  • Drive and encourage adoption and optimization of Contour
  • Main point of contact for advisors to provide advice and guidance on product selection and Contour website navigation, acting as subject matter expert
  • Create and execute sales campaigns to promote advisory initiatives to advisors
  • Coordinate and facilitate product and website training calls for advisors and home office employees
  • Manage advisor due diligence meeting requests which includes working with the program managers and compliance to get appropriate approvals
  • Identify and communicate process and procedural improvements that reduce workloads, increase efficiency and enhance quality for the advisory group’s initiatives
  • Stay up to date on current and emerging developments/trends, assess the impact, and collaborate with management on new opportunities and trends
  • Assist in creation of advisory marketing and training material
  • Responsible for maintaining the advisory services pages within the product marketing section of Unio to make sure information is current
  • Prepare monthly sales and AUM reports for management
  • Sets and keeps consistent office hours at the San Diego home office
  • Supports Company Mission Statement and Corporate Values
 
Position Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3+ years related financial services and/or broker dealer experience. Advisory knowledge required and prior experience in a sales role is preferred.
  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 65/66 licenses required
  • Excellent telephone communication skills.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of advisors or other employees.
  • Must have advanced oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills and ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small & large group situations to customers, strategic partners, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to influence from the associate to senior leadership levels with the ability to effectively address all levels within the company with maturity and good judgment.
  • Strong communications also include being outgoing, enthusiastic, positive, personable, and professional while excelling in customer facing roles.
  • Must communicate quickly and decisively in difficult situations.
