Contingency Position Upon Award

Will serve as the primary interface for the governments POC to assist the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) objective to provide reliable and available Audiovisual support services for integrated/installed (not portable) AV systems and equipment at FCC HQ locations. Will supervise other technicians and provide routine and emergent AV support services for over 100 rooms within FCC HQ. Will ensure that processes are aligned for effective operations and communication channels are established and open and will involve handling support service requests of AV operations for FCC events.

  • Organize, direct, and manage contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex and inter-related tasks.
  • Evaluate performance results and recommend changes affecting program success.
  • Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments and meeting with the COR, Government management personnel, and other Contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items to ensure conformance with program task schedules and costs.
  • Formulate and enforce effective work standards and established program schedules.
  • Communicate policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinate contractor personnel.
  • Work with the Contract Team to develop, draft, write, and edit reports, briefs, proposals, correspondence and other documents.
  • Promote standardization across FCC customer domains of support processes and tools in accordance with requirements and under the governments POC guidance.
  • Collect, document, and present a consolidated review of AV status, plans, risks, issues, and milestones.
  • Complete, present, and submit the Program Management Review.
  • Coordinate directly with the government POC regarding the completion of all task areas.
 
Position Requirements

Qualifications/Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience installing, configuring, deploying, and supporting Audiovisual systems on IT communications systems and/or IT networks.
  • Three (3) years of management experience leading an AV team or teams.

Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust position (i.e. Security Requirements Suitability and Security Processing). Must be a US Citizen
