Description

JOB SUMMARY

Prepares complete documentation packages for complex electronic and mechanical assemblies with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Prepares complete drawing packages including assembly views and part lists and releases into Product Lifecycle Management system.
  • Coordinates with program team for timely release of drawing package in support of program schedule.
  • May prepare parts lists including the entry of new drawing part numbers into the PLM systems.
  • Create and process Engineering change orders in support of program schedule.
  • Completes work in compliance with applicable internal and external standards and specifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

Minimum:

  • Associate's degree from two-year college, technical school, desired

Preferred:

  • Associate's degree from two-year college, technical school, desired
  • Two years related experience

Skills:

  • Basic to intermediate understanding of Mechanical design concepts and techniques
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of mechanical drawings tool usage, SolidWorks and/or AutoCad
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge with Product lifecycle management system (such as Omnify) and produce bills of materials
  • Manage and organize files using Microsoft windows explorer
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible.
