This team will play a critical role in launching a brand-new way of offering virtual education through using the revolutionary 1:1 Fusion Academy model, at our new Fusion Global Academy. The Fusion Global Academy Director of Homework Café… creates and implements the vision of establishing and growing the virtual school community at Fusion Global Academy provides supervision of students and manages the operations of hosting daily virtual homework café sessions in which students experience a well-rounded social experience while striking a healthy balance between academic productivity and socialization leads effectively through modeling lifelong learning exemplary digital citizenship supports campus strategic plans and aligns himself/herself with organizational goals, promotes a positive virtual social environment for students through the development of students’ social-emotional skills daily student-centered rhythms and a taste of fun develops and executes engaging student extracurricular activities, virtual field trips, student yearly events, community service events, and weekly virtual student meetings and clubs relates well with a diverse population of human beings and can effectively mediate situations involving conflict tenacious in driving student success through a variety of creative strategies which in turn promote growth through top-notch student support views each student as an individual and creates personalized plans to meet needs both academically and emotionally organized and possesses strong interpersonal communication skills addresses problems or obstacles with patience and creativity engages parents in the fabric of the virtual school through programs community presentations and various activities self-driven and motivated to follow through and meet deadlines for ongoing commitments and job expectations   Position Requirements Qualifications • Bachelor's degree required, ideally within the field of education or counseling • Relevant experience such as teaching, counseling or tutoring at the middle and/or high school level • Experience working with academically, socially and emotionally challenged teens preferred • Experience in virtual learning settings and online technology tools preferred All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, marital status, affectional or sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, nationality or sex.   Number of Openings 1   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt   This position is currently not accepting applications.
