Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to put your skills, talents and experience to work supporting a Federal client’s organizational and digital transformation? TGS is looking for a Site Coordinator to join our growing team. Candidates must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Our Site Coordinator plays an important transformational role in this major IT infrastructure modernization project. The Site Coordinator ensures location readiness for the service provider to begin its modernization effort there. There are thousands of sites to be modernized over the coming years. The Site Coordinator will be collaborating with hundreds of people across the United States via email and phone to manage the scheduling and ensure successful implementation with minimal impact on employees. The position will involve the creation of and adherence to checklists and processes for site readiness and work completion after implementation. It also requires assisting with service order entry, modification, validation, cancellation, and review on as needed basis.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide information to employee point of contacts at various locations around the US with information about site visits by service providers and what they need to prepare ahead of time.
  • Communicate site readiness to service providers and provide any special directions for the specific site.
  • Manage implementation schedule and reporting for a wide array of IT/telecommunications technologies and functions.
  • Collaborate with resources across various infrastructure support teams, architecture and solution engineering, etc. and serve as the bridge between the service provider and customer agencies for service rollout at sites.
  • Assist with entering, modifying, cancelling, validating, and verifying service orders.
  • Previous experience working with a government client preferred, but not required.
Position Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1 to 2 years direct work experience as site coordinator, event planner, or similar job.
  • Understanding of project management software, such as Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Project Web Application.
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities; Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
  • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, especially over the phone.
  • Must have good problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Must be highly organized and able to switch between multiple requirements with different deadlines.
  • Previous Federal consulting experience preferred, but not required.

Working Environment & Conditions

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The work load may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, perform simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move items that weigh up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required for the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
