Position Description

The Account Specialist is an entry level business to business sales position within a growing, stable company that has been in business for over 100 years. The Account Specialist will be able to have strong conversations with customers in order to gather information that will help to find opportunities to grow their existing business

They will be responsible for placing outbound calls to accounts that are current, past and prospect customers of Wilbert. These calls will be focused on building relationships with decision makers in order to increase their business with Wilbert. This person will also be able to build instant rapport, be a good listener, have a drive to succeed and be a self-starter.

This position is a part-time position and involves heavy phone work.

 Account Specialist Responsibilities

  • Making outbound calls to accounts.
  • Answering potential customers’ questions and sending additional information via email.
  • Staying updated on all products and services offered by Wilbert in order to highlight features and benefits to potential customers and interested parties.
  • Maintaining awareness of competing products and services in order to overcome potential objections revealed during conversation with decision makers.
  • Researching and qualifying new leads to help increase Wilbert’s presence in territories.
 
Position Requirements

Account Specialist Requirements

  • Previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position preferred, but not required.
  • Previous sales experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong listening and sales skills.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Solid customer service skills.
  • Ability to achieve goals.
  • High school diploma/GED, Associates Degree or higher preferred
  • Availability to 25-30 hours weekly, and additional hours as needed
  • Flexibility with start/stop times, as needed

Account Specialist Expectations

  • Confidentiality, as appropriate
  • Accurate and complete documentation, as required
  • Self-starter that works with little supervision
  • Perform activities as set forth by management
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals as established by management

Manufactured products include burial vaults, monuments, septic tanks, retaining walls, storm shelters and miscellaneous agricultural precast products.
