Share Email Opening Title Curatorial Intern, Academy Museum - Summer 2020 (Academy Gold)  Description Summary: The Curatorial Intern will help with the research, organization and development of Hayao Miyazaki, the opening exhibition for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. You will be involved with a wide range of curatorial activities and will have the opportunity to interact with various departments. Responsibilities: Execute both administrative and research-driven projects. Other duties as assigned.   Position Requirements Graduate student who has completed their first year in an M.A. or Ph.D. program in film studies, museum studies, curatorial studies, or related fields. Strong interest in curating, film, animation, writing and research. Japanese language skills highly desired. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Excellent writing and research skills with a keen attention to detail and a good sense of humor. Impeccable organization skills with the ability to work in a creative environment. This internship is part of the Academy Gold Program, an 8-week internship enhancement program that incorporates learning opportunities including an intensive two-day orientation, weekly panels, exclusive networking events, workshops, screenings, and mentorship opportunities with Academy members.
