Share Email Opening Title Director of Corporate and Medicare Compliance  Description Dominion National, a rapidly growing and leading provider of dental and vision benefits has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director of Corporate and Medicare Compliance in our Arlington, VA office. The Director of Corporate and Medicare Compliance is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of corporate and Medicare compliance activities related to the various supported dental business lines. Work involves developing, implementing and monitoring the Compliance Program at Dominion to ensure that the company meets with applicable rules and regulations. Travel may be required for this role. Performs other duties as assigned. Essential functions include but are not limited to: Oversees, coordinates and facilitates the Compliance Program to ensure timely and effective implementation of compliance-related activities and requirements. Overseeing and monitoring the day-to-day operations of the Compliance Program and supporting the corporate parent. Serves as the primary point of contact with various regulatory bodies. Maintains a current working knowledge of applicable compliance program rules and regulations, relevant risk areas and compliance issues. Develops, reviews, updates, and ensures the timely distribution of corporate compliance program-related policies and procedures. Develops and facilitates required training sessions, including those on general compliance and fraud, waste and abuse. Responsible for applicable Performance Management activities for direct reporting relationships. Performs other duties as assigned   Position Requirements The minimum qualifications for the ideal candidate include: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare related or closely related field required. Healthcare related graduate degree (e.g., JD, MA, MPH, MHA, MD, RN, PHD) or equivalent education preferred. Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC) certification required or obtained within 12 months of hire. 5 – 7 years’ experience with compliance and regulatory issues, health plan, PBM or government experience, including leadership experience necessary. Knowledge of dental operations and related business practices, familiarity with government program (Medicare, PPACA, CHIP), detailed working knowledge of compliance program structure, requirements and procedures. Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, to include formal presentations Proven ability to interact, work and communicate effectively with individuals at various levels, including operations, senior management and board members.
