SUMMARY: Position is responsible for maintaining all plumbing equipment and fixtures on all entities and properties
under the control of Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
?? Routinely inspects all plumbing equipment in the facility, identifying potential problems, and resolving it.
?? Maintains an adequate supply of materials related to plumbing.
?? Interprets building plans, blueprints, oral or written instructions and sketches in order to plan, layout and install the
systems and equipment.
?? Check the sprinkler pipe systems to ensure proper operation.
?? Maintains logs, records and troubleshooting.
?? Keep records of assignments and produce detailed work reports.
?? Prepare written work cost estimates and negotiate contracts.
?? Updating and using relevant knowledge in keeping up to date technically and applying new knowledge to plumbing.
?? Quality control analysis to conduct tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or
?? Responds to work orders on a daily basis, according to facility needs.
?? Maintains strict adherence of all codes, OSHA safety rules and ensures regulations are followed.
?? Ensures that all cleaning materials, chemicals and equipment are used in accordance with the manufacturer
instructions on SDS sheets.
?? Interacts with guests and other departments in a professional and courteous manner.
?? Responsible for the ordering of all plumbing parts.
?? Responsible to source out products.
?? Establish and adhere to project schedules.
?? Communicate with appropriate management for coordination and implementation of project goals and timelines.
?? Ensure compliance with all company policies, practices and procedures.
?? Any and all other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:
?? One (1) year supervisory experience required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
?? Meet and maintain all State requirements as a licensed Master Plumber.
?? Welding experience preferred.
?? Boiler's license preferred.
?? If required, must be able to pass company pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test.
?? Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority, and follow all relevant DGR's.
?? Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
?? Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
?? Must be able to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations.
?? Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, percentages,
common fractions, and decimals.
?? Ability to interpret specifications and cost estimates for assigned jobs.
?? Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and
?? Must be able to apply common sense understanding to a variety of situations, in order to collect data, analyze facts,
and determine appropriate response.
