Associate Director, Business Operations 

Description

The Associate Director is responsible for understanding the business needs of the organization and working across departments to strategically develop and implement processes to address those needs. This individual also is responsible for understanding the Company's Go to Market strategy and developing a cross functional plan to execute on the strategy including establishing annual sales performance targets. The individual will also be tasked with creating tools, and using automation for increased effectiveness and efficiency of the sales organization This individual will serve as project manager for those plans. Employee will be the primary point of contact to manage and respond to RFPs or RFIs and maintain a response database. The ideal candidate will be skilled in data analysis and reporting, with experience using Salesforce.com and related systems within the organization. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to partner with various key-players across multiple teams (Sales, Finance and Business Systems).

  • Understand the business needs of the Company.
  • Lead requirements analysis initiatives to determine the business needs of the organization and apply appropriate technology to meet identified needs.
    • Build relationships with internal teams and outside partners and identify natural opportunities to support growth.
    • Identify opportunities to leverage automation and organize activity/follow-up to improve sales team effectiveness.
  • Develop problem solutions by projecting, managing, and strategizing the Sales team processes to drive higher efficiencies using a data-driven approach.
    • Oversee the analysis on business performance to drive operational changes
    • Drive operational reviews of the business, leading business analysis including revenue, customer, and market analysis.
    • Set operational goals and business objectives. When needed, translate these goals into actionable items.
  • Support sales teams on medium/long-term planning including business potential and resourcing
    • Manage the monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals for the sales team along with reporting of performance.
  • Conduct administrative duties and other tasks including:
    • Collect market intelligence and form perspectives on competitive trends, industry challenges, and evolving market needs.
    • Assist with Report requests
    • Assist with RFP/RFI Responses
    • Complete ad-hoc projects as required

 
Position Requirements

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent is preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years of sales operations support role
  • Expert at Salesforce.com reporting and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills and decision-making ability
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, decision-making skills, and ability to show good judgment in decision making
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Positive can-do attitude and comfortable and flexible working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in an efficient professional manner while meeting deadlines

  • Carefully prepare for meetings and presentations; follow up with others to ensure that agreements, tasks or commitments have been fulfilled.
  • Demonstrate commitment to achieving Company’s core business objectives of increasing the role of pharmacy and improving patient health in America.
