This position is located at our Troy, MI location.

Responsibilities

• Work with Engineering teams to develop reman production processes for assembly and test of various fuel system products

• Current production support and continuous improvement of existing processes

• Carryout process validations and statistical analysis

• Design custom mechanical fixturing based on the application

• Develop component drawings in Solid works or AutoCAD

• Develop functional test strategies and technical specifications for remanufactured products

• Work with 3rd party suppliers to develop various production equipment

• Good Data analysis & reporting skills.

• ME is involved in new program launches to understand reclaim potential for future reman programs.

• RFQ and Capex management for new assembly and test projects

Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electro Mechanical or Science Engineering

• 2+ years of experience in Automotive manufacturing engineering

• 2+ years of experience with handling production equipment and processes

• 2+ years of experience with Solid works and AutoCAD to develop component drawings

• 2+ years of Hands on experience with mechanical fixtures, tooling and test systems

• 2+ years of experience in supporting 3rd party suppliers for developing assembly and end of line test machines

• 2+ years of experience developing technical specifications for new production processes

Preferred Qualifications:

• New process development / launch experience from design to production

• Handling production equipment and manufacturing processes

• Design of custom tooling based on the application
