Description

General Summary:

Serves as the primary customer contact for integration and international transactions. Responsible for quotes working extensively with the Sales or bid capture managers. Builds and maintains customer relationships through ongoing communications on order status and order inquiry resolution. Performs order entry functions for integration and international sales and US Government contracts. Additionally, collaborates with the finance organization on the administration of commission schedules for domestic outside manufacturers’ representatives. Follows all Astronics Test Systems’ policies and procedures.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs inside contract coordination activities including pricing quotations and serves as a key resource for customers and manufacturers’ representatives on order status, shipping dates, product availability and back orders.
  • Reviews purchase orders and government contracts for pertinent sales order information and conducts order entry functions for domestic, international and USG contracts.
  • In coordination with the Export Manager, administers export licensing procedures and requirements. Ensures company compliance with US Export Regulations/requirements, creates export documents and coordinates the licensing requirements for international shipments.
  • Performs ongoing updates to customer database covering new orders, scheduled shipment dates and tracking numbers for order fulfillment.
  • Manages the quoting process for customers.
  • Maintains files and documentation on quoting and order activities.
  • Monitors and maintains customer’s portals and certifications
  • Monitors product delivery schedules and communicates with customers regarding changes to customers purchase orders, such as delivery date, out of scope requirements, quantity and or pricing changes.
 
Position Requirements

Job Specifications:

Bachelor's degree or typically 5 or more years' related work experience with contracts administration and compliance, some knowledge of the EAR, ITAR, export documentation is a plus, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have competencies in basic Microsoft Office Software including Excel and Word.

Must be a US Citizen.
