Director of Brewery Operations

Description

Hangar 24, is seeking a Director of Brewing Operations to join its senior leadership team at their headquarters in Redlands, California. Hangar 24 is an independently owned craft brewery, driven by its mission to provide their fiercely loyal following with consistently great American-made craft beer. Hangar 24’s breweries are designed and operate with the belief that the adventures we share can make our world a better place and that we have the power to craft the kind of world we want to live in. If you have a similar love for adventure and are committed to the pursuit of excellence in craft beer, this may be the opportunity for you.

Location

Redlands, the home of Hangar 24, is one of the oldest and most historic communities in Southern California, originally founded as a wintering destination for wealthy East Coasters. In the late 1800s it became the largest navel orange producing region in the world, and Hangar 24 has drawn from this history in pioneering the use of Oranges in its beer, most notably with Orange Wheat, but with many other varieties as well.

Redlands is also aptly suited to serve as the base for the experiencing the company’s tagline – Adventures We Share – as its central location in Southern California affords customers and employees many opportunities to enjoy a variety of outdoor and social activities. The winter and summer seasons around Big Bear Mountain are equally appealing. The desert seasons and mid-century charm of nearby Palm Springs have international appeal. And the world-class beaches, museums and metropolitan diversity of Los Angeles are just to the west, close enough for a visit but comfortably situated apart from the community feel of Redlands.
