We believe vaccination is the best protection for our patients, community and Visiting Nurse staff.   Location Fayetteville/Southside   Category Home Health   Description The VNHS Logistics Team is responsible for overseeing the assignment of all patient visits for Home Health field clinicians. Logistics Coordinators ('LC's' or "Schedulers") collaborate within a team environment to ensure all Home Health patients are seen in a timely and efficient manner. With the assistance of our automated scheduling software (CATS), the Logistic Coordinator will select primary clinicians for each VNHS patient; assign open visits to clinicians based on skill set, productivity targets and proximity standards; monitor key reports and metrics; and ensure the continuity of care across all branch locations. LC's ensure that each patient receives consistent, timely care as ordered by their physician. The position facilitates excellent employee relations, requires outstanding collaboration skills and performs various administrative duties as assigned. Positions are based out of the Lakeside Branch Office in Sandy Springs. Team is collectively responsible for coverage 7 days per week.   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Position Requirements Education:  High School diploma or equivalent required. College or University degree preferred. Licensure/Certifications: If LPN or RN, licensed in the state of Georgia Previous Experience: Minimum two years logistics/scheduling experience or comparable preferred.  Home Health experience preferred. Job Knowledge: Demonstrates knowledge of medical terminology. Computer proficiency is required. Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills; critical thinker; ability to multi-task; excellent customer service and communication skills; builds internal and external relationships; and strong organizational skills Computer Skills:  Proficiency in the use of a computer, including the Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to master in-house scheduling software and proficiency with EMR system are required.  Minimal typing speed of 40 WPM and accurate data entry skills are necessary.
