IT Support Specialist I 

Description

SUMMARY
Provide a point of contact for the business to receive support and maintenance within Muscogee Creek Nation Casinos technology environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading the cable infrastructure. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely, accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on assistance.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  1. Installation, termination, and testing of low voltage and Fiber Optic Cable.
  2. Operates various hand power tools and specialty equipment depending on assignments.
  3. Responsible for mapping Cabling Infrastructure.
  4. Install CCTV components, Audio/Video, and other Low-Voltage Systems.
  5. Clean-up of Data Center and MDF/IDF Infrastructure.
  6. Accountable to SLO’s and quality of service standards.
  7. Assist in software releases and roll-outs according to Change Management best practices at the cabling level.
  8. Assist other trades personnel as required by management to meet project installation objectives.
  9. Build strong end-user relationships by keeping commitments and having a strong customer service-orientated approach at providing support.
  10. Provide detailed documentation of troubleshooting steps in Incident Management system. #ind1

 

 
Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, and/or ability required.

 

EDUCATION
High School Diploma and/or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Certifications: CNCI, DCI, etc.

 

EXPERIENCE

  • 1-4 years related work experience in the field of Information Technology
  • 1-4 years in the installation and termination of low voltage cables, and/or fiber optic cable
  • Excellent technical knowledge of PC and desktop hardware
  • Excellent technical knowledge of structured cabling
  • Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards

Gaming License Must obtain and maintain a Gaming License.
