As a direct result of our focus on female leadership, Budros, Ruhlin & Roe has created a Women in Wealth Management Scholarship. The purpose of this scholarship is to support future female financial professionals in pursuing a career in wealth management. We understand that education and experience in this field is essential to success for clients and professionals alike; the recipient of this scholarship will receive $1,500 toward their college tuition, as well as a paid summer internship with Budros, Ruhlin & Roe, Inc.


To be eligible to apply for the Women in Wealth Management scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. A female student enrolled in a finance or related major at a university in the US
  2. Junior or Senior class standing
  3. Plan to pursue a career in personal wealth management and/or obtain the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification
  4. Able to complete Summer 2020 Internship (May - Aug) with Budros, Ruhlin & Roe

We are Looking for Students:

  • Who are self-driven and inquisitive
  • With the ability to assess and initiate things independently
  • Who work well in a collaborative team environment
  • With knowledge of basic financial planning, income tax, stocks and bonds, mutual funds, and other financial information
  • With strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • With the ability to quickly learn web-enabled applications and database software

Position Requirements

Education and Job Experience Preferences:

  • The preferred candidate will be in her junior or senior year, during the internship, working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Family Financial Management or similar major or degree
  • The preferred candidate will have taken some courses toward the CFP(R) designation
Salary Range $15 per hour
