About the Organization For over 70 years, The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region has helped people with intellectual and developmental disabilities build better lives one person at a time. We provide support services and advocacy to 400 adults and children and their families in Harford and Cecil Counties. The Arc supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to create lives that mirror yours and mine: students attending neighborhood schools, adults going to work and living in their own homes, and individuals enjoying the social and recreational opportunities in their communities. We are a private, non-profit local chapter of The Arc of Maryland and The Arc of The United States, the largest volunteer organization in the world devoted exclusively to improving the quality of life for all adults and children with developmental disabilities.

Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for the development, implementation and coordination of the person-served data systems to track program/person served outcomes. The Program Systems Coordinator will project manage the change management process for the system and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary staff to optimize the system. The Program Systems Coordinator will be the primary site administrator for the person-served data systems and 'super user,' providing technical assistance, training and coordination with the vendor and team members. The Program Systems Coordinator will support leadership with organization-wide performance improvement.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

In a manner consistent with supporting The Arc NCR Mission Statement the Program Systems Coordinator shall do the following:

Quality Support

  • Lead the development and revision of the overall person-served data systems to meet the needs of programs
  • Serve as primary site administrator for person-served systems and effectively coordinate as the primary liaison with the vendor
  • Ensure the structure of the database serves the needs of programs and captures necessary data
  • Enable and disable features and functionalities as needed; make decisions about which tools are best fit for tracking information
  • Develop and review custom reports/case management reports for accuracy and timeliness; work with appropriate program staff and leadership to ensure compliance and measurable improvement in outcomes

Quality Team Members

  • Create user accounts and ensure that each team member account has the appropriate level of access in the software; regularly audit and ensure user compliance
  • Provide initial and ongoing training to team members; ensure standard operating procedures and system user manual(s) are created and updated regularly
  • Analyze outcome data; create reports and recommendations to the Sr. Director of Quality & and executive staff

Financial Excellence

  • Oversee and assist in analyzing and resolving person-served systems issues
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, protocols and workflows
  • Perform audits on systems to ensure policies and procedures are being consistently followed
  • Designs strategies for maximizing system effectiveness and use by the organization
