ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe Warehouse Manager shall ensure inventory is properly tracked, stored, and available to fill any requirements for the aircraft. Along with aircraft related material, operational supplies and equipment must also be maintained. Duties shall include, but are not limited to the following:• Train, oversee, and support all warehouse personnel• Perform hiring, disciplining, reviewing and termination of warehouse personnel• Administer probationary and annual employee reviews• Research all zero balance requisitions• Perform receiving inspection duties when required• Cover or substitute personnel to fill in for absent employees or open positions• Review hazmat shipments prior to shipment• Ensure vehicles and warehouse equipment is properly maintained and securely stored• Reference IPC for assemblies piece part identification or location• Cross-train personnel as required• Ensure all personnel have access and an understanding of the GMM• Settle any disputes internally and within full level of the lawo Notify/consult with Human Resources as needed prior to administering corrective action• Ensure security of warehouse and its contents at ALL times• Ensure proper storage and upkeep of inventory and warehouse facilities• Familiar with all aspects of TRAX that pertain to inventory• Process and clear all times sheets on weekly basis• Be on-call outside normal operating hours• Maintain MSDS sheets to include revisions for all hazardous materials on site• Provide communication and support for station Stores personnel• Understand and assist Senior Manager in enforcing safety regulations, proper shipping methods, ESD handling procedures; as well as forklift and vehicle safety• Perform other duties and assignments as directed by Director of Materials and Sr. Stores Manager
QUALIFICATIONS• Proficient computer skills (Windows, Excel, Word, Internet)• ESD Training• Hazmat certified• Forklift certified• Ability to obtain and maintain SIDA access badge (Airport Authority provided)• Possess valid state driver's license with clear MVR• Ability to perform heavy lifting of 50 lbs. and over• Must be able to pass a 10-year Background/Criminal check and pre-employment drug screenEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE• High school diploma or GED• Aircraft or Inventory experience required• Management experience requiredPHYSICAL ACTIVITY• Stand - 30%• Walk - 20%• Sit - 50%• Travel – occasionally• Lift – Over 50 lbs.MENTAL CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS• Ability to handle numerous activities at once and complete in a timely manner• Work with limited supervision and possess an impeccable attention to detail, excellent customer service and organizational skills required• Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gathering and analyzing information skillfully with significant detail• Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules of others on long-term basis• Ability to make decisions which have significant impact on the department's credibility, operations, and services• Ability to compose letters, outlines, memoranda, and basic reports
