Summary
The HR Generalist is expected to be a conceptual thinker with advanced organizational and conflict management skills. The HR Generalist will have excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

To ensure success, HR Generalists should exhibit strong decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staffing management, and training. Top candidates will be comfortable managing grey areas, effective at scheduling, and methodical in the execution of projects and processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with all internal and external HR related matters.
  • Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures.
  • Recommend strategies to motivate employees and participate in or lead project teams for implementation.
  • Investigate complaints brought forward by employees.
  • Review and approve disciplinary actions in alignment with the progressive discipline process.
  • Perform Employee Relations Conferences and Pre-Disciplinary Conferences.
  • Conduct interactive processes in conjunction with HR Management when any requests for accommodation are brought forward.
  • Coordinate employee development plans and performance management.
  • Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
  • Manage the organization's employee database and prepare reports.
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
  • Assist with budget monitoring and payroll, as assigned.
  • Assisting employees and managers with performance-related discussions as needed.
  • Serving as a resource to employees and managers on Boundless policies and human resources regulations.
  • Identify and execute best practices in the areas of diversity and inclusion and employee recognition.
  • Identify and recommend to HR leadership new people-focused initiatives.
  • Organize and execute employee initiatives such as employee engagement, training, and informational fairs.
  • Coordinate and execute employee engagement surveys, including partnering with leadership to implement post-survey action plans.
  • Chair colleague-listening workshops and other feedback forums.
  • On request, take the lead on implementation and roll-out of people-focused initiatives.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
  • Ensure consistency in process and policy.
  • Ability to travel between corporate locations on average once per quarter.
 
Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years Supervisory or Human Resources experience required
  • Strong understanding of coaching and leading discussion on performance management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as a cross-functional team member.
  • Marketing and project management experience.
  • Willingness and eligibility to travel (regionally), when required.
  • Ability to respond effectively and efficiently to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
