Ingleside Communities is seeking dedicated, energetic, hard-working Acvitity Assistants. We have openings for full-time or part-time Acvitity Assistants to work during the Day and PM shift hours.

We're located in beautiful Mount Horeb, WI just south of Madison, and have a reputation for providing quality care to seniors in the Madison and surrounding communities since 1972. We are a not-for-profit, highly respected provider of short-term rehabilitation, long-term care and senior living services. We consistently receive 5-Star ratings from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for the quality care we provide.

Activity Assistants are an essential part of our Life Enrichment Program providing therapeutic activities designed to meet the interests and enhance the functional abilities and self-esteem of each resident and tenant living at our skilled nursing, assisted living and residential care apartments. They provide life enriching activities according to Ingleside's philosophy and consistent with state and federal regulations. They assist residents during mealtime to provide a comfortable enjoyable dining experience. Ability to communicate with residents and their families is also a key component of this position. Activity Assistants are part of a close team who rely upon one another to ensure they provide relevant engaging activities for each resident.

Position Requirements

Qualifications Required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Wisconsin Driver's License (in good standing)
• Enjoy working with the senior population
• Must be English literate to complete all functions of the job

Qualifications Preferred
• One year experience in a healthcare setting providing therapeutic activities to individuals
• Completion of the State of Wisconsin Feeding Assistant Program
