The PM CSW is responsible for current and future light, medium, and heavy machine guns, grenade machine guns, precision weapons systems, remote weapons stations, and ground mounts. CSW efforts include: Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station (CROWS) M153, M107, M119, M1020, M151 Spotting Scope, XM157 Fire Control, and Compact Semi-Automatic Sniper System (CSASS).
Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:
• Provides program acquisition logistics recommendations, program coordination and guidance to support the decision-making process for PM SW Product Directors and will attend and lead Logistics Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, provide research, analyses, and reviews.
• Responsible for their related target acquisition and fire-control products, binoculars, and in the management of Non-Standard Weapons acquisition in support to Foreign Military Sales (FMS).
• Review and provide comments on reports and prepare original acquisition documents.
• These efforts will be provided in support for remote weapon station platforms to include all current and future variants supported by PM CSW for the Army, Air Force, Special Operations, Marines, Department of Energy, and other organizations.
• Provides Total Package Fielding (TPF) support to PM SW, and its business partners, and makes recommendations to the Director of Logistics.
• Fielding support includes planning, coordinating, and tracking fielding small arms weapons to Army units.
• Develops and updates the master weekly fielding schedule as well as quantity of systems fielded.
• Supports includes planning, coordinating, and tracking fielding to Army units, as well as preparation and review of fielding documentation.
• Obtains the necessary data (Who, what, when, where, etc.) relative to fielding.
• Coordinates directly with the Department of Army Deputy Chief of Staff (DA G8), Army Commands (ACOMs), and/or appropriate force modernization offices.
• Attends Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, providing research, analyses and reports,
reviewing and commenting on documents, and preparing original acquisition documents.
• Must be capable of working independently.
• Assist with proposal development, if necessary.
