Share Email Opening Title Communications Manager  Category Communications   Description The Communications Manager supports and assists AOC Response Cell (RC) with Systems Configuration, planning, and coordination for AOC Exercises to meet operational training objectives of 505th CTS Commander. The AOC RC Comm Manager is an AOC interoperability subject matter expert who develops and maintains operational level, planning documents for AOC RC matters. As Comm Manager, provides direct exercise support to 505th CS Comm Planners in development of floor plans and coordination of system integration checks, to ensure accurate communications with external agencies. Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To: • Travels to attend required planning conferences, held both in person, and via video conferences, to ensure proper support for training audience. • Attends several exercise development conferences and meetings ensuring comm architecture is understood, and properly incorporated in all C2 system requirements. • Establishes procedures and coordinates system access requirements for augmenting personnel assigned to AOC exercise manning and requiring system access. • Establishes guide, checklist, and training document for new Part Task Trainer, (PTT) Simulation trainer that is being incorporated into AOC exercise to provide AOC Directors with ability to monitor aircraft scenario through simulation interface display. • As Comm Manager for AOC RC, coordinates system hardware and software requirements with 505th CS that will provide timely installation, test, and development for C2 tools to enhance ability to provide realistic training for distant services. • Leads the procurement and installation of two AOC C2 systems. Submits and monitors requests for CPAS and IMOM systems to 505 CS Configuration Manager for use during AOC exercises. Aids in providing visual feedback to exercise control and training audience on the effectiveness of executed missions. • Coordinates with CS Planners on AOC WS end-to-end validation test prior to and during exercises and testing. • Advises AOC RC on all exercise communication issues and system security requirements to include forms and documents needed to access host systems. • Travels to forward position with the training audience during event execution to represent the AOC white cell and provide communication support. • Coordinates with appropriate joint, coalition, allied and commercially-based communications systems and services required to support AOC operations. • Assists in planning, managing, and coordinating the Multi-Tactical Datalink architecture with the AOC interface control team. • Coordinates with 505th CS System Administrators to ensure high-interest circuits, links, nodes, and networks remain operational. • Submits user account information to the System Administrator along with validated C4I requirements to the 505 CS Comm Planners before exercise events. • Coordinates C4I system requirements (e.g., systems, software, user account, data, etc.) with the AOC Divisions/Cell/Teams, ensuring proper connections are fully operational with outside agencies. • During exercise execution, monitors status reporting and situational awareness on communications system and services specified to sustain AOC operations to all levels of command and distant end stations connected to the AOC. • Monitors and coordinates C4I architecture development, AOC exercise floor organization and equipment placement. • Coordinates with the AOC Information Management Office (IMO), develops web, shared file server, and data archiving requirements. • Develops web documents to be used by exercise players for feedback and processes improvement reports and provides 505th Commander recorded lessons learned for AOC exercises. • Assists with proposal development, if necessary.   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Requisition Category Medium   Req Number 109-19-00003   Location Hurlburt Field, FL   About the Organization Here at Sawdey Solution Services, an ISO 9001-14001 certified and CMMI-SVC v2 Level 3 appraised corporation, has built a nationwide and global footprint as a leading government contracting organization.
