Our ever-growing Autism Services Program has an exciting opportunity for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Manager to join their team in Charlotte, NC. The BCBA Manager is responsible for the supervision and development of market-centric, culturally appropriate autism services in their market area. This position will develop and implement services for individuals living with autism spectrum disorders, and their families including direct supervision of the program team. The Lead BCBA functions as a member of the Regional Program Leadership Team, and the lead member of interdisciplinary teams providing autism-related services.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Conduct assessment and develops ABA programs for incoming clients
  • Maintain partial caseload including all activities that align with program standards
  • Manage growth for the local region including monitoring and distribution of caseloads, assigning new clients
  • Responsible for program operational activities in collaboration with Practice Supervisor: oversees scheduling and waitlist, customer relationships, assesses staffing needs, works with the recruiter and administrative coordinator to fill staffing gaps, approves RBT hiring/termination decisions according to ESUCP practices
  • Provide individual supervision and mentoring to Associate, Supervisor and Mentor BCBAs on both clinical and administrative responsibilities;
  • SupportsAssociate and Supervisor BCBAs in conducting functional assessments/analysis of behavior as well as skills-based assessments and supports the development of behavior intervention plans and ITPs for individuals with autism.
  • Review/monitor client clinical reports, progress notes, and data summaries in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Under the guidance of the leadership team, develops and implements standardized program procedures
  • Ensure program content aligns with Applied Behavior Analysis best practices and code of ethics as identified by the BACB and ESUCP policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement supervision plans for all staff under their supervision (Assistant Behavior Analysts, Level 3 Students, Associate, Supervisor and Mentor BCBAs, RBT assigned to caseload)
  • Conduct professional development activities and in-service training for staff and families on applied behavior analysis.
  • Support the Leadership Team in identifying and building relationships with necessary constituents to market program and identify opportunities.
  • Support leadership in meeting program budget goals and annual growth plans.
  • Implement and monitor departmental policies and procedures, quality assurance and standards in accordance with accreditation requirements.

Position Requirements

YOU’RE A GREAT MATCH FOR OUR TEAM IF YOU HAVE:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Master’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in education, psychology, or related field.
  • A minimum of five years of proven successful experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis
  • A minimum of three years of proven experience in the management and supervision of staff within ABA programs
  • Ability to lead others and support the values of the program.
  • Demonstrated ability to form partnerships and other relationships with a variety of organizations and leaders in the community.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong organization, time management and follow up skills.
  • Meets qualifications as established by specific funding sources.
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with staff, participants and the public in a professional and concerned manner.
  • Must have unrestricted, state-appropriate driver's license and current, personal vehicle insurance.
