POSITION SUMMARY: BASIC FUNCTION
The Data Center Operations Technical Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the requirements and interactions between Data Center Operations and Service Delivery. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for taking Service Delivery generated work orders and defining the schedule, the associated requirements, contractor requirements, MOPS, and the associated quality assurance for installation and de-installation activities. Coordinates closeout of critical facility documentation at the end of the project, all quality assurance inspections, reports, and maintaining as-built documentation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors and coordinates all the requests for CFOPs support from Service Delivery.
Coordinates and oversees all circuit installation and de-installation requests to include items such as, but not limited to:
Developing major milestone schedules
MOP creation
Panel schedules
Circuit programming in MATRIX
Responding to Contractor RFQ's
Creating Purchase requests
Overseeing all contractor activities.
Conducts Quality Assurance for all installations and deinstallations
Identifies client and contractor construction problems and concerns, analyzes and proposes solutions, and communicates effectively.
Reviews and ensures that drawings and documents submitted by approved contractors are per the specifications.
Performs implementation of ad-hoc analysis as needed to support decision-making.
Drives quality, manufacturing, and serviceability improvement initiatives (i.e., design for quality, design for manufacturing, design for serviceability).
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requires regular, predictable attendance is essential for satisfactory performance.

Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, or Bluebeam Revu (PDF modifier) to document as-built conditions and propose solutions.
Proficient with computers to include the utilization of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High School or GED required.
BS Degree, preferably related to engineering or construction, or equivalent education and/or relevant work experience (generally acquired 4-5 years) required.
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the data center industry, construction, or similar industrial facility experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Familiarity with construction-type sites and hazards and ability to navigate project sites safely and in control.
Combination of sitting, walking, standing, and bending.
Able to hear and speak into a telephone.
Close visual work on a computer.
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Able to climb a ladder and work on a raised platform.
WORK CONDITIONS
40%: Standard office; Data Center environment with varying temperatures and loud noises; extensive daily usage of workstation or computer.
60%: Construction/renovation-type environment at various levels of development that requires safety protocols and appropriate PPE.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Travel up to 10% of the time.
Must work on-site; no telecommuting permitted.
Must possess a current, valid state-issued driver's license.
Must wear appropriate protective equipment as necessary for construction-type projects.
