The Columbia Group (TCG), a technical services support company, which has a successful 50+ year history of providing the United States Military with cyber technology, information technology, financial management, acquisition, logistics management, engineering, design, fabrication, test and evaluation, and support services, in support of our corporate operations The Columbia Group, Inc., is seeking a Junior / Mid-Level Programmer.

The Junior / Mid-Level Programmer will:

  • Be knowledgeable of basic programming language skills and be knowledgeable of basic databases.
  • Be able to understand and modify existing web-based applications that are database driven and written in PHP and PERL, using Jquery, JavaScript and other programming languages driven by a back-end MySQL database.
  • Be able to create new web-based applications in a timely manner.
 
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in software development and customer service
  • Programming knowledge / experience
  • Ability to write queries and work with SQL based databases
    • Preferably MySQL
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance
    (US citizenship required)
