This job requires the technician to perform Production Assembly tasks as assigned on a daily basis. Tasks for this position include working on all stages of Digital Bible Assembly, i.e. product preparation, product firmware updates/install, digital loading, final inspection (QC) and assembly, component assembly and preparation. There are also non-digital product assembly and creation functions such as mp3 and dvd disc creation, duplication and printing, mp3 packet assembly, envelope stuffing, and mailroom tasks.
The Production Assembly Technician I/Shipper must have: basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook software, the ability to use a computer database program, and the ability to learn the operation of duplication, printing, and other miscellaneous equipment. Basic math skills, good attention to detail not only in assembly but also in filling out paperwork. The ability to work with tape guns and box knives safely and efficiently, and reach, crouch, and bend. Manual dexterity, wrist flexibility, good hand-eye coordination. Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds. Self-motivation skills. Maintain production requirements and quality standards. Good communication skills and work well with co-workers.
