NAVAIR Operations Security Analyst  


The Columbia Group, Inc. is a fifty-year old small business providing engineering, financial management, IT application development, and platform acquisition to Navy clients. TCG is growing fast as a prime contractor in NAVAIR and other Navy Systems Commands. We seek an enterprising candidate to fill a high-visibility role of NAVAIR Operations Security Analyst supporting the CH-53 Program Office, PMA 261.

PMA-261 H-53 Heavy Lift Helicopters is a program office under the Program Executive Officer Air, Assault, ASW & Special Mission Aircraft (PEO(A)). PMA-261 is responsible for multiple H-53 variants including the CH-53E, MH-53E and the CH-53K helicopters.

Functional Description of the Position:

  • Apply knowledge of Operations Security (OPSEC) to develop, implement, and maintain the OPSEC Program to protect sensitive unclassified information, activities, equipment and material used or developed by the U.S. Government and industry.
  • Develop OPSEC Surveys and Assessment Plans, as well as conduct and produce findings of surveys and assessments.
  • Provide support for U.S. Government- hosted foreign national visitors.
  • Develop, participate in, and /or provide OPSEC training and awareness.
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 3 to 10 years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description.
    • Desired - At least 1 year of experience supporting NAVAIR development programs.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
