What You Would Be Doing
The PDP Onboarding and Compliance Specialist will be responsible to track and complete all aspects of new hire onboarding compliance and annual compliance processes for the Parent Directed Program.

Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Contact and meet with all new staff to introduce them to the onboarding process, schedule new hire training, preform in house drug screenings, and ensure new staff process completion prior to their starting to work.

  • Communicate with families regarding their new staff onboarding to keep them up to date on the process. Inform the families when their new staff can start and establish new staff in billing software.

  • Using ADP, Advisor, and other tracking software programs, to update and maintain accurate credentialing and certification compliance for all PDP employees.

  • Create and distribute communications to each PDP employee and families regarding their necessary compliance requirements.

  • Ensure that PDP employees complete required steps to maintain annual compliance. Assist PDP employees to obtain necessary compliance by directing and scheduling them as necessary.

  • Communicate both verbally and in writing with PDP employees and the families with whom they work regarding disciplinary actions, suspensions, and terminations. Ensure notification is received so staff who are out of compliance cannot and do not continue to work.

  • Scans employee documents into the electronic filing system

  • All other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age; High School Diploma or equivalent; must be able to communicate in English, including both spoken and in writing.

Licensure/Certification: valid Ohio Driver’s License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles; proof of auto insurance.

Experience: Two or more years of experience in a similar administrative capacity required. One year experience in HR, Finance or related field preferred. One year experience working with intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals preferred. Previous ADP experience preferred.

Special Skills and Requirements:

  • Must be detail oriented and have competent literacy and writing, documentation, communications and interpersonal abilities

  • Must be able to utilize strategic thinking skills to interpret documents such as procedure manuals, work instructions and other compensation related documentation

  • Must be able to communicate well in a respectful manner with all employees, families and fellow staff members

  • Must have strong organizational and computer skills (MS Office suite) and ability to learn new programs expeditiously
